Beyond Chatbots – Think Together.

Introducing Symbai

With the World’s Best Interactive Drag & Drop Thinking Platform

Symbai engages students aged 14+ in structured, AI-guided debates — challenging them to explore both sides of an issue and develop real-world reasoning skills through independent argument, reflection, and critical thought.

What Is Symbai?.

An AI-powered, gamified debating tool that helps students practise and build critical thinking skills

Designed for students aged 14+ and the educators who teach them.

Symbai uniquely blends structured visual argument mapping with the dynamic of competitive debate, creating an active learning experience more powerful than mind mapping or traditional debating alone for building robust critical thinking

Gamified Format That Engages

Students debate a neutral AI opponent in a gamified, focused environment — strengthening independent thinking, building confidence, and making critical skill development more enjoyable.

Distraction-Free Full-Screen Debates

Students stay fully engaged, with no ability to browse the internet, copy-paste information, or switch tabs — creating a real-world debate environment that builds genuine focus and independent thought.

AI Opponent That Challenges Student Thinking

Symbai’s AI can argue either side of a debate — affirming or negating the motion — forcing students to engage with different perspectives, strengthen their reasoning, and think more critically about their own arguments.

“I believe Symbai has the potential through its unique multi-AI approach to become ubiquitous in the field of critical thinking in the way that Grammarly is associated with writing or Quizlet is with flash cards.”
Nick Hanne
Education Partnerships Manager at the Free Speech Union NZ
“Symbai fills a major gap in education — it equips students to think logically, independently, and critically. Unlike other tools, it offers a neutral, AI-driven platform where students can genuinely practise debating and refine their thinking.
It’s like having a 24/7 mentor that challenges without bias.
A powerful solution for those seeking depth over groupthink in today’s education landscape.”

Symbai alpha usage limits:

Many AI providers use usage pricing to account for token costs incurred by their users. We don’t want you getting any nasty surprises for high use, so we have a flat price with usage limits that you are highly unlikely to reach. Symbai will not allow you to exceed these limits, so you don’t need to worry about exceeding your usage.

These limits apply to all subscription tiers:

  • The teacher can use the AI to generate 10 debatetrees per month. Teachers can create as many manually created debatetrees as they like. Copying an AI debatetree to a student’s account does not count as a generation. AI-generated debatetrees can be edited as much as you like.
  • 20 AI-generated counter-rebuttals per debate per user.
  • 3 AI-assisted document uploads per month.
  • Storage limit of 15 debates per user.

Email contact@symbai.ai or call  02102499045 if you have any questions about the different tiers and/or usage limits.
